Books

I’ve loved books ever since I can remember. I have memories (more emotional than
actual) of sitting in a rocking chair with my mother teaching me to read.
Reading meant plenty of time in the library and in my favorite chair, book in hand.
For some reason it didn’t translate to writing for a very long time.
When my youngest child was about four, I had a thought that kept twirling in my
head. I wasn’t sure what it was, but when I finally wrote it down, I found out it was a
picture book. It is still unpublished, but you can find a pitch for it here, along with
other manuscripts that are ready to be sent out.
As of this writing (Sept. 2022), I’m researching for a middle grade novel set during
the Civil War in Gettysburg and finishing up a Western script.
